CHEF / COOK – FULL-TIME

With an excellent, modern & workable kitchen facility to service Station 46 Bistro / Bar / Cafe the future is bright and exciting for the successful people who join our team!

The Euston Club Resort is looking to attract a motivated, professional and competent Qualified Chef OR an experienced Cook to join the kitchen team.

This role is offered on a full time basis. The successful applicant will bring a passion for food and motivated attitude to providing outstanding customer service in this operation. You will be calm under pressure and be able to support the team around you to deliver quality meals.

To be considered for this position you must have:

As a Chef – Qualifications of a Certificate 3, Certificate 4 OR Diploma in Commercial Cookery PLUS 2 years post qualifications experience

As a Cook – At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities include cooking and non-cooking responsibilities, e.g. rosters, costings, training, menu creation, food preparation, stock control etc.

You will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

The ability to work well in a team;

A passion for food and customer service;

An outstanding work ethic;

Able to work unsupervised as part of the kitchen team;

An ability to think on your feet and prioritise on the run;

Be able to take and give direction;

Be polished both professionally and in grooming; and

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays.

The salary range for this role would be from $54,000 to $65,000 plus superannuation.
